Municipalities are increasingly choosing to tender their contracts within the framework of a so-called DBFMO formula. DBFMO stands for Design, Build, Finance, Maintenance and Operation. In other words, everything, from design to operation and maintenance, is placed in the hands of a private partner who will be responsible for this for a period of x number of years.
With this in mind, VITA Groep was established with a dedicated focus on the DBFMO development of sports and swimming pool complexes in the public sector.
Tailor-made by joint knowledge
The partners within Vita Groep each have extensive experience in their own discipline(s) and have the necessary capacity to start, optimise and successfully operate DBFMO assignments for sports and swimming pool infrastructure.
Besides Cordeel as the general contractor, the partnership consists of Slangen+Koenis Architects, Hellebrekers as an engineer in the field of swimming pool technology and exploitation specialist Farys. Together we strive to develop an innovative concept of sports and swimming pool facilities according to the wishes of the municipality and with respect for the existing environment.
The progressive designs and fresh approach of Vita Groep have already resulted in several assignments. Since its foundation, VITA Groep has realised sports complexes in Middelkerke, Aalst, Mortsel, Hellevoetsluis (NL), Mol and Temse.
